Presenting at Scandinavian Photo in Stockholm

PHOTARCH was presented at Scandinavian Photo's flagship store in Stockholm, at a Fujifilm event shared with the landscape photographer Serkan Günes. The day was about medium-format photography and workflow.

The session set out the principles behind the PHOTARCH method and went through the set-up: the angle of the light, the white ground, and the Fujifilm GFX system used to make detailed, consistent pictures across collections and institutions.

Beside Serkan's landscape work, a very different but equally careful way of making pictures, the method led to discussions with archivists, students and working photographers about intention, process and photography's part in keeping time and place.

Thanks to Fujifilm and Scandinavian Photo for the invitation and support.
